HUCHUYQOSQO 2DIAS 1 NOCHE

The amazing architectonic center called Huchuy Qosqo or “Small Cusco”, it was known as Caquia Xaquixahuana in Inka times and according with the feature writers it was inhabited by Wiracocha until his death. You can appreciate an amazing view of the Sacred Valley and the Urubamba mountains from Huchuy Qosqo. This small but beautiful track near to Cusco, we will be able to appreciate a beautiful flora and fauna, some Andean views and local people.
FIRST DAY : CUSCO - TAMBOMACHAY - QORICOCHA LAGOON .-
Transportation from your hotel to the archaeological center of Tambomachay (3720 m.s.l.), located 20 minutes from Cusco, where we will begin the beautiful circuit.

We will enjoy some beautiful views in the first stretch of the route heading for Qoricamrca (3760 m.s.l.), there we will appreciate the famous Peruvian grass called Ichu. After having climbed an easy ascent, we will arrive to an esplanade where we will found some llamas, then we will head for Qoricocha Lagoon (4030 m.s.l.) where we will camp in the middle of the picturesque landscape.
SECOND DAY: PUCAMARCA - HUCHUY QOSCO - LAMAY – CUSCO We will ascend to a beautiful plain where is very usual to find some llamas, then we will descend to Pucamarca (3970 m.s.l.), located in the middle of a beautiful gully. Near to Pucamarca we will find remains of the Inka Trail to Huchuy Qosqo. The last stretch of the circuit we will cross a road between some mountains that are part of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas.
Arriving to a esplanade where Uchuy Qosqo is located also known as “Small Cusco” (3630 m.s.l.), where we will be able to appreciate a beautiful landscape of the Urubamba Mountain Range, we will see some snow-covered mountains such as Pitusiray (5600 m.s.l.) and the Sahuasiray (5720 m.s.l.) there we will visit the archaeological complex. In the afternoon we will descend to Lamay where a bus to Cusco will be waiting for you.
