Magical Jungle:  3 Days/ 2 Nights

Day 1

You will be picked up at Puerto Maldonado Airport and, depending on what time do you arrive, there may be time to take a guided tour of the city. After this, we will cross the Madre de Dios River and travel by four wheel drive to the Bello Horizonte lodge, where we will settle into the jungle. Here we will have lunch enjoying the incredible view of the nature around us, take a swim in the spring water swimming pool, and then have dinner.

Day 2

Venture into the jungle along the Loboyoc Creek.

fter breakfast we will take a walk along the immense and beautiful palm swamp, continuing until we reach the Loboyoc Creek. All day we will enjoy an adventure in the dense rainforest taking a boat along the creek. We will explore the ecological trails where you will be amazed by the wide variety of trees (such as Brazil nut and rubber) and medicinal plants (such as Cat’s Claw or the Caña Caña). We will also encounter orchids, insects, butterflies, and a rich variety of birds including parrots and macaws. If we are lucky, we may even see monkeys, giant river otters, or caimans.

On our return, after dinner, we will sit around a bonfire and listen to traditional Amazonian tales called “Pasos del Chulla Chaqui”.

Day 3

You will be taken back to the airport, where your guide will help you check in and say goodbye.
