TOUR TOWARDS MACHUPICCHU BY BUS 2 DAYS. (Opción B).

Machupicchu, lost citadel of the Incas, is located at 2 450 meters of altitude, and was discovered by the northamerican explorer Hiram Bingham in 1911. Since then, it is the most visited archeological center  of South America. That is why it represents an obliged visit.

DESCRIPTION OF THE TOUR:

FIRST DAY:

The departure will be at 8:30 a.m.  Beginning of the tour we direct to OLLANTAYTAMBO enjoying nice landscapes of the zone. Where we will make a short stop of approximately 10 min. From where we will continue the trip by a zigzagging ascending towards the Abra de Málaga located at a height of  4316 m.a.s.l from where we will be able to watche the most wonderful landscapes of the Peruvian geography.

After a short stop we will start the descending towards the vegetation going through the different altitude flats that combine Paradise landscapes of majestic snowies to the hottest eyebrow of the jungle.  Up to the highness of Alfamayó We will find a road el perfect conditions completely pavemented.. Place from where the highroad of ground begins (without pavement) by where we will continue towards the town of Sta. Maria. Located at an altitude of 1575 masl, to continue after a short stop to the town of  Santa Teresa. 2:00 p.m. aprox. Where a delicious lunch will be waiting with a  variation of food for the tasting of the, 3:45 p.m.

Finally we will retake the road towards the train station Hidroeléctrica towards Aguas Calientes arriving at hours 5:30 p.m. where we will locate in the corresponding hostals meanwhile free time will be available, where you will be able to visit the springfalls of Aguas Calientes 8:00 p.m. We will enjoy a delicious diner moment in which you will receive a speech in charge of the guide that will have care the guided visit to the citadel of MACHUPICCHU. Overnight.

SECOND DAY.-(Machupicchu sunrise) :

You will have the option to be able to go up to Machupicchu by bus or by foot, the breakfast will be served from 5:00 a.m., the guided visit will start at 6:00 a.m. and will last 2 hours at least, Afterwards you will enjoy free time until 11:30 a.m. aproximately, time recommended to be able to go onboard to the train for returning to Hidroeléctrica the same that departs from Aguas Calientes 12:35 p.m., where we will do the transfer to the car to proceed the return towards Santa Teresa, where a free time will be given to you for an hour approximately.so that you can take your meals, or use the toilets, afterwards we will proceed the return to CUSCO by the same route we arrive, getting at  9:30 p.m. aproximately.

What you must take:

• Repelent for  mosquitoes,
• Sun blocker
• Cap and T-shirts with long sleeves
• Bathing suit, Shorts, Towel, Sandals if you wish to visit the springfalls
• Lantern if you wish to go up walking to  Machupicchu, poncho for the rain
• A bottle of water and  snack
• Photo camera, etc.
• Note: The accomodation will be in base to doublé romos and multiple ones.

It does not include:

• Bus for going up nor down.
• The last lunch of the second day.
• Entrance to the springfalls.
