Enjoy this program, developing it in a personalized
way, visiting the principal destinies of Peru, in a fascinating trip of
17 days, with walks to Nasca, Tour to the
Canyon of Colca, Walks in the folkloric city of Puno, Tours by
Cusco, Machupicchu, tours by the jungle of Puerto Maldonado, etc.
DAY 1. LIMA: INTERNATIONAL
ARRIVAL TO LIMA
Attendance at your arrival
to the International Airport “ Aeropuerto Internacional "Jorge Chávez"
of Lima and transfer to the
selected hotel.
DAY 2. LIMA / NAZCA – LINES
OF NAZCA / AREQUIPA
By the morning, we
go on board to the bus, with destiny to
Nasca, where we will be arriving approx. at 14:.00 Hrs, after
it we settle in our hotel in Nasca , we will transfer to the aerodrom of
Nazca to go on board to an aircraft that will make a flight of 45
minutes over the misterious Línes of Nazca,
huge lineal drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures. Drawn in
the desert, that can only be seen from the air. By the 22:00 Hrs, we
will travel to the city of
Arequipa (9 hours and a half approx.) going through deserts and valleys
from the coast. Rest in the trip.
DAY 3. AREQUIPA – CITY TOUR
 Arrival to (the White city)
Arequipa, called so, for its buildings of White Sillar (clay), volcanic
Stone that is thrown by the Volcanoe Misti.
At the arrival to
Arequipa, transfer to the hotel selected.
Guided tour of the city of
Arequipa, including the Main Square, one of the most beautiful ones of
Perú; the Cathedral, an example of the Peruvian architecture
during the XIX century, that hosts precious treasures of gold and; and
the church of La Compañía,
ancient Jesuit temple, perhaps the most important one of Arequipa for
its history and tradition, with a beautiful façade with carved columns
carved with spirals, crown of laurels, flowers, birds, etc.
Free night, we recommend to
go to bed early, since the next day our guide will pick you up very
early to start you trip to the Canyon ( Cañón del Colca.)
DAY 4. AREQUIPA – CAñON DEL
COLCA
 Early in the morning you
will go on board in an incredible trip of 4 hours approximately by
touristic bus towards the Cañón del Colca, one of the deepest canyons of
the (3,400 mts.), going through Pampa Cañahuas in the National Reserve
of Aguada Blanca, hábitat of vicuñas and
alpacas (camelids of South America).
In the route we will
appreciate precolombian terraces that continue being cultivated by the
native Collaguas.
At the arrival to the Valle
del Colca, transfer to the Hotel or
lodge selected.
In the afternoon, we
recommend to rest and adapt to the altitude. If you are in a good
physical condition, you will have free time to take a walk by the
surrounding of the lodge or take a repairing bath in the spring falls
near lodge.
Dinner and overnight in the lodge selected in Valle del Colca.
DAY 5. COLCA – CRUZ DEL CONDOR
 Very early in the morning we
will depart La Cruz del Cóndor, where the greatest bird of the world can
usually be seen in its plain flight. Getting back we will visit the
towns Yanque, Coporaque, Achoma and
Maca. A good occasion to appreciate the life of the inhabitants
of these towns that has not varied much since incan times. Lunch in a
local restaurant.In the afternoon return to the hotel selected in
Arequipa. Free night..
DAY 6.
AREQUIPA / PUNO
Very early in the morning,
transfer to the bus station and departure to Puno. Arrival to
Puno and transfer to the hotel selected.
By the afternoon meeting in the hotel to leave with
destiny to Sillustani, archeological complex located at the shore of the
lagoon “Laguna de Umayo.” It is famous for the
chullpas, circular towers of Stone that were raised to host
remains of the principal authorities of the ancient settlers of Collao.
Some reach the 12 meters height, being a curious detail that the
diameter of the basis is less tan the upper one. Return to the
Hotel. Overnight.
DAY 7.
PUNO – LAGO TITICACA, ISLAS FLOTANTES UROS, AMANTANI
AND TAQUILE
 Transfer from the hotel 7.45 a.m. To the lake port of
Puno to sail in the boats at a trip is made of approximately 40
minutes to visit the floating islands of Uros where we visit for a while
of 30 minutes where we will be able to watch the inhabitants that since
500 years ago inhabited it before being the tribe of the Uros taking the
island to live far from the Incas and Collas, where they made of the
totora (weed that borns in the lake) its principal material to
make its” caballitos de totora” that are used for fishing and for
the making of their houses.
Then we continue travelling towards the island of Amantani arriving at
13:30 The guide accomodates in the houses of the families, where the
lunch will be given then you will have a tour for walking, towards the
temple of Pachatata and
Pachamama, at the end we return to the house of the family where you
will have your dinner.
DAY 8. PUNO – LAGO TITICACA,
FLOATING ISLANDS UROS, AMANTANI
AND TAQUILE
After breakfast we will cross from Mamantani towards
the island Taquile
travelling for an average of 1 hour. When arriving a walk will be made
toward the town where you will be able to watch the famous weavings and
the typical clothes, where you will also be able to watch numbers of
pre-inca buildings as well as terraces, the island is very narrow a
width of 1km and 6-7 kms.
Length, where people here offers their amazing works done in knittings
of a fine quality, after the visit we will have a return to Puno and
your hotel.
DAY 9.
PUNO / CUSCO
Breakfast. Through an especialized touristic bus. You
will start the tour visiting the Museo de Sitio de Pukara, (a Museum in
situ) where you will appreciate monolitos and pottery made by this
culture developed in the altiplano of Puno. You will continue towards
the highest spot of the circuit.: Aguas Calientes - La Raya ( 4,385
masl.) and at midday you will arrive to Parador Turístico where you will
enjoya n exquisite buffet lunch to continue your trip up to the imponent
Temple of God Wiracocha located in Raqchi, to finish visiting the
marvelous colonial church of
Andahuaylillas. Arrival the city of Cusco. Accomodation in the hotel
selected. Overnight.
DIA10 CUSCO – CITY
TOUR
By the afternoon, we will
know by guided tour the city of Cusco, visiting the Main Square, the
Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha.
The tour will continue
outside the city to visit the archeological inca complexes Kenko,
Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the astonishing Fortress of Sacsayhuaman,
built strategically un a hill, dominating Cusco. Famous for its huge
carved stones assembled with a surprising
precission that form the external walls of the complex. Some of
these stones overpass the 9
mts. Height and weigh more than 350 tons. Return to the
hotel. Free night.
DAY 11. TOUR VALLE SAGRADO
DE LOS INCAS.
Guided tour to the Sacred
Valley of the Incas, over the
Urubamba river, to visit the Indian market of Pisac.
Lunch in a
local restaurant local of the
Valle Sagrado de los Incas. In the afternoon,in the way to the
Fortress and citadel of
Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley
and protect it from possible invasions of the settlers of the jungle. We
will have the opportunity to walk by the little streets of the town and
thus have a clear idea of how it was this religious, cultural and
military center during the Incan Empire. In the way of return to Cusco
we will visit the pintoresque small town of Chinchero, where the rest of
the royal farm of Túpac Inca Yupanqui are found. You will admire its
well preserved Inca Wall en the main plaza and will visit the beautiful
colonial temple with interesting paintings in the portrade, built over
the basis of an Inca edification. Transfer to the hotel selected in
Cusco.
DAY 12.
CUSCO /
TOUR MACHUPICCHU
Breakfast. Free morning
We pick you up from your
hotel in Cusco between 13:30 p.m. (it will depend on the type of
train you choose) transfer at hours of the morning towards the station
of Ollantaytambo (at 02 hours from Cusco
by car).
Departure of the train from the station of
Ollantaytambo for a time of an hour and a half The train transfer sus up
to Aguas Calientes, where the alternoon can be taken free: Settle in the
hotel and then you may choose to walk around Aguas Calientes,
visit the springfalls, all of it inside the town of Aguas
Calientes and with total security.
Overnight in the hotel
selected of the town of Aguas Calientes.
Free night, we recommend you to take dinner at the hotel selected.
DAY 13.
FULL MACHUPICCHU
 Excelent opportunity to get
up early, take the bus that will take us in a trip of
30 minutes, ascending by a zigzagind road, towards the incredible
citadel of Machu Picchu, know as the “Lost City of the
Incas".
The excursion includes a guided tour of the citadel,
visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Clock, the
royal rooms, the Temple of the three windows and the cemetaries. After
the tour in your free time, you will have time to walk by the main
archeological centers or will also have the opportunity to climb the
famous mountain of
Wayna Picchu
until 13:00 hrs. then you must take the bus that will return you to
Aguas calientes. Lunch in a restaurant of the town of Aguas Calientes.
By the afternoon at the time stated in the train
ticket you must go on board on the train for returning to
Ollantaytambo, to
then take a bus towards Cusco where the tour ends.
DAY 14. CUZCO / PUERTO MALDONADO /
PASEO ECOLOGICO 4D/3N
Transfer to the airport and
departure from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado (flight Cuzco/Puerto
Maldonado).
Arrival to the city of Puerto Maldonado capital of the
biodiversity of Perú.
Arrival to Puerto Maldonado
and we transfer towards the canoe that waits in the
Madre de Dios river by boat with motor.
During the trip we will plunge into a natural
environment where we will watch in the shores, people with fishing
canes, some species of typical brids from the Banks of the river.
We will keep on towards
the native community where a family direct from the native etnia esse
eja lives.that still keeps good part of its customes, myth and
ritual behaviors, we will do a Little living together with them, where
we will learn much of what they teach us. These communities are a space
plenty of secrets, knowledge and an harmonious interaction between man
and the jungle, as an integrating part of a whole called world.
We will have the opportunity to sleep in a small rustic
house of this family.
DAY 15.
PUERTO MALDONADO /
PASEO ECOLOGICO 4D/3N
The dawn of the second day.
On
board – towards the crack of
lake Valencia, we sail during 50 minutes by this crack that is a very
narrow river up to the overflowed Lago Valencia that in its waters hosts
a variety of species of fishes.
We will become craftfishers, with our tackles of craft
fishing (hooks, a small net (optional) we will throw our hooks with good
balt, thus we will wait to fish something with which we will have our
lunch..
You are invited to take a shower or bath in the
freshing river for the high temperature that surrounds the jungle.
Return to the river Bajo Madre de Dios with direction
to a beach where we will have an overnight in our tents and prepare…

Animales
“ TARICAYA”. Biological Center
for the Rescue of Animals.
The name of the center "Taricaya" is ought to
the Project of protection for the turtles or river or “taricayas”.
Lunch. Free time having the opportunity to talk with the resident
volunteers. Here we will be able to watch different species of animals:
jaguar, varieties of monkeys (monos), tapir, pecarí and
some exotic birds as the “trompetero.”
Canopy Walk
(a hanging bridge that goes up at
42 m of height and 90
m of length for the monitoreo of birds.).
Trekking of 30
minutes in the primary forest up to the Canopy-Walk.
After climbing the first tower of
14 m, we walk over the hanging bridge (Canopy Walk),
ascending to a platform of 42 m of height from where to enjoy of a
panoramic and extraordinary sight over the jungle. The trees seen from
above, the wrapping sound of the jungle beneath our feet, the green that
extends up to where the sight reaches; few times we will have the
opportunity to enjoy a contact with the forest so extraordinary.
To direct the navegation
towards the island Rolin, where we will appreciate the nice
evening.

DAY 17.
PUERTO MALDONADO /
ECOLOGIC WALKING 4D/3N
Short walking very early by the sand of the beach of the island.
Sailing in the canoe and trip of return to Puerto Maldonado.
Transfer to the airport of Puerto Maldonado to go on
board on the flight of return to the city of
Lima.
Arrival to the city of Lima.
